History and Information It is unknown when the Phantom Lord guild was founded due to the fact that it is an illegal guild with no documents of birth. However, the Magic Council have stated that the Phantom Lord guild did not start causing trouble in Fiore until X767, so for some, that is when the guild truly 'started'. Before the current master, Jaylon Meer, arrived, the guild was unorganized and simply wreaked havoc wherever they went. However, after Jaylon's ascension to the top seat, he structured the guild, adopting several customs from legal guilds while maintaining its reputation as a fierce dark guild. For example, Phantom Lord mages can also participate in jobs, however these are generally shady jobs that deal with assassination or kidnapping. Like legal guilds, Phantom Lord also have S-Class exams. In order to become a S-Class mage, you must defeat a current S-Class mage with the Master as a spectator.
